MacVector 16 For Existing Customers
MacVector 16 is now available for download by qualified customers. To run MacVector 16, you must have a maintenance contract with MacVector Inc that was active on September 1st 2017, or have purchased an upgrade since that time. To see if you will be able to run MacVector 16 using your existing MacVector license, start MacVector, then choose "About MacVector" from the "MacVector" menu. You will see your license information displayed in the splash screen;
If your "Maintenance Ends:" date reads September 1, 2017 or later, you will be able to run MacVector 16. If not, you can register to download the trial version, then contact your local MacVector account manager (firstname.lastname@example.org) to learn about upgrade options.
MacVector 16 Released!
There is a new release of MacVector with enhanced automatic sequence annotation, a simplified combined Feature/Symbol Editor, a new Assembler algorithm (SPAdes) and lots of other improvements. MacVector 15.5.4 Update!
This release adds support for more flexible automatic online updating. This will be a required update in preparation for our forthcoming MacVector 16.0 release. Download the update here.
macOS 10.13 High Sierra
MacVector 15.5.3 is fully supported and compatible with Apple's latest OS release, macOS High Sierra. Earlier version are not supported. So why not upgrade.

MacVector 15.1 Released!
MacVector 15.1 has had the NCBI BLAST and Entrez functions rewritten to comply with the requirement that all US Government web services use the secure https:// protocol before the end of 2016.
