MacVector 17.5 For Existing Customers
MacVector 17.5 is now available for download by qualified customers. To run MacVector 17.5, you must have a maintenance contract with MacVector Inc that was active on February 1st 2020, or have purchased an upgrade since that time. To see if you will be able to run MacVector 17 using your existing MacVector license, start MacVector, then choose "About MacVector" from the "MacVector" menu. You will see your license information displayed in the splash screen;
If your "Maintenance Ends:" date reads February 1, 2020 or later, you will be able to run MacVector 17.5. If not, you can register to download the trial version, then contact your local MacVector account manager (email@example.com) to learn about upgrade options.
All customers who are eligible to run MacVector 17.5 should use this link to download the MacVector 17.5 installer.
MacVector 17.5 Released!
This release has new functionality for outlining domains in protein multiple sequence alignments, support for quality values in the Align to Reference interface, a new de novo assembly algorithm (Flye) for long read NGS data along with the usual tweaks, bug fixes and support for changes to the macOS. MacVector 17 is not only fully supported and compatible with Apple's latest OS release, macOS Catalina, but it also supports Dark Mode and uses the latest Apple signing and notarization procedures so you can be sure you are using an authentic copy. Earlier versions of MacVector can't do this. So why not upgrade?
